For your undying, if not misguided and naïve, optimism. And also for rubbing it in my face that you HAVE a ride home from the airport but just CHOOSE HAVE THE LUXURY OF CHOOSING not to take it.

I had to blur out any potentially identifying information because if anyone reading this sees the name of my mom’s ride or the city she lives in, they will come and murder her, of course.
