Yeah, I saw that, and I have no problems with being controversial in comedy, but this just didn’t seem very comedic. Maybe she tried and bombed, I don’t know, but it just sounded hateful. I recently wrote a post wherein I complained about people making invalid excuses for eating crappy (which I do too) but almost because of this whole thing I was really careful to make sure people knew it was the bullshit excuses I didn’t like, not the fact that people are overweight.

Ugh. Just… UGH. Why do peeps insist on perpetuating HATE of any kind? It’s not acceptable. It needs to go away. I’m over it. Everyone has a struggle. No one is perfect n that’s the BEAUTY in being human. We are all unique. We all have a story. We all are in this together. We ALL have a journey. It’s time we start lifting one another UP as opposed to cutting one another DOWN. What is there to be gained in knocking another person just for being “different” than you or me? Nothing. Nothing whatsoever.
I’m getting so fed up with the negativity in our fucking country. The media is far too focused on perpetuating the bullshit, and it needs to STOP.

Gotta agree with Melanie…this hate needs to stop.- All of it! Bake the Frick’n cake, for God’s sake (literally, for God’s sake). If all these hating people are going to heaven because God likes bigots who don’t appreciate other people’s right to love who they wish or because someone doesn’t resemble a doll with no brains or feelings, then i am glad to believe that there is no judgment, no heaven or hell, – we will just go back to God. and the big fact – He’s willing to take us!
