this morning, wearing my Seahwaks hat:
Him: “Are you going to opening day?!”
Me: “Huh?… Oh–no. This is my ‘I’ve given up on life’ hat, so I wear it a lot.”
Him: “It’s awfully premature for you to be saying that.”
Me: “I like to think of it more as wise.”
Him:

But…but…did he think the Seahawks’ season started today? Or was he inferring your fandom of the Mariners and all Seattle sports by the hat? Sorry that’s all I take away from this…

So are you a Seahawks fan? Don’t you live in LA? I live in Seattle and I’m not a Seahawks fan, but it sure is fun to be here when they win.

I’m a Seattle fan!!! Yeah, I live in LA and visited Seattle for the first time this year and absolutely fell in love with the city–I don’t really care about football. I’m jealous of you!

So you must not like seeing the sun then? Or you came the one time of the year we got sun? There are definitely good things about living here, but man there are also some really weird people and taxes etc. But I’m glad you liked it.

It actually isn’t rain all the time. It’s just the cloudy and grey all the time that kind of stinks. I don’t mind the rain either.

It’s helped me have thousands of things to be bitter about so…yeah I guess I could attribute a lot to this weather. You would probably fit right in here then.
